Dues
Dues are owed annually on January 1st in the amount of $25. They can be paid by check, or cash if given directly to the treasurer. A late fine of $15 is assessed for unpaid dues after April 30th. If you have questions about dues and how to pay them, please reach out to us at westerleehoa@gmail.com.
Checks should be made payable to Westerlee Community, Inc. with a clear note in the memo as to which household address the dues are for. Dues can be mailed or dropped off to the current treasurer, Mr. Casey Fuller, at 2114 Fernglen Way. The collected dues help Westerlee Community, Inc. preserve home values for homeowners and resolve problems when possible as they arise in the neighborhood. They also fund social events like the annual neighborhood picnic. We’d love to be able to add more activities to the calendar this year, and your support will make that possible!
Volunteers WANTED
Looking for ways to be active in your community? Want to put your social or organizational skills to use? Contact us if you’d like to volunteer as a board member or help in other ways. Your time commitment is flexible and very valuable to our volunteer-run board!
If you are interested in serving as a block captain, contact the block captain coordinator Wanda Richardson. Block captains serve as an important liaison between their section of the community and the Board of Directors to ensure that the Board is aware of the concerns specific to you and your closest neighbors. As a block captain, you would help be able to help the board and have the opportunity to get to know your neighbors better.
Architectural Review Committee
Our properties in Westerlee are governed by covenants. The covenants stipulate that any changes to the property, including driveways, sheds, and fences, must be submitted to our Architectural Review Committee for their review and recommendations. Proposals will be reviewed by the board and either approved, or rejected with recommendations on how proposed changes can be amended to fit within community guidelines.
